The Open Enrollment window at Redmond Proficiency Academy (RPA) will close at 5:00 p.m. on March 15th. Any new student interested in attending this tuition-free public charter school should apply online by clicking here.
Applications for enrollment are being accepted for students entering grades six through twelve. There are openings at all grade levels. RPA attracts students from thirty-five schools and home schools in ten Central Oregon cities and offers a diverse culture and creative atmosphere focused on exploration and success. RPA features a College Prep program that utilizes a university model that teaches students in seminar environments that emulates life on a college campus.
RPA students can choose from over fifty elective offerings that serve a variety of student interests, including our award-winning robotics and theatre programs, digital filmmaking, computer science, performance choir, rock band, and over 30 college credit and Advanced Placement courses. RPA is one of five schools in Oregon to offer the College Board’s new AP™ Capstone program including 16 AP™ courses.
“Students at RPA have the opportunity to accelerate their learning to ensure they are challenged and that they understand what they are learning,” Bullock said. “For example, a sixth-grade student who wants to take advanced seventh and eighth-grade courses can do so. Likewise, a 9th grader who wants to take advanced high school courses, can do that too.”
